CARING is one of the core values of AHCC. We live out this value in good and faith-filled ways, proclaiming and practicing - called to share God’s love for each person. We have faithfully sought to make our church a caring community where members support one another through times of joy and times of struggle.
The Caring Ministers (formerly known as Stephen Ministers) seek to embrace and ensure that every member of our church community receives care and that a growing number of people choose to serve as disciples.
- Visit members as identified by the Care Coordinator (in person, by telephone, by note writing)
- Help members connect with caring resources available to them or someone in need: friendly flowers, caring casseroles, prayer shawls, baby blankets, etc.
- Plan and implement the Cornerstone Sunday reception in October and the Service of Remembrance and Healing in December.
There is a growing need and desire for caring in our congregation across all ages. Join us.
